Bristol Community Acupuncture operates two clinics in Bristol offering low-cost acupuncture treatment to the local community. In the financial year to 31 October 2025, we provided approximately 1,500 treatments across our two sites at Cassell Road and St Annes House. We operate on a twice-weekly schedule, offering six-hour clinics with a capacity of around 30 treatments per week. Our service is designed to reach people with limited access to acupuncture due to cost or mobility barriers. The majority of our clients are people on low or no income, many managing chronic health conditions such as pain, anxiety, and musculoskeletal issues. We also provided a number of free treatments funded through Community Lottery grants, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to access.
No consultation with stakeholders
Two directors received remuneration during the financial year. Each received £150 per day for clinical and operational work. No additional benefits were received. Remuneration was set at a level appropriate to the part-time nature of the work and the social enterprise's modest turnover.
