During the financial year, the CIC received grant funding from Arts Council England and the Architectural Heritage Fund to develop and deliver community-focused arts projects. This included the development and curation of Who Wants Flowers When They Are Dead? a public exhibition exploring experiences of grief and loss, which was presented from August to October 2025. The project worked collaboratively with local community groups and individuals with lived experience of bereavement to create opportunities for creative participation, conversation and reflection. By engaging people in artistic practice and public exhibition, the project encouraged greater understanding of grief, reduced isolation through shared experiences, and created an accessible space for community dialogue around loss and remembrance. Grant funding enabled the CIC to commission freelance artists and creative practitioners, purchase exhibition and art materials, maintain its website, and meet the costs of delivering the project. These activities furthered the company's community interest objectives by increasing access to arts and culture, supporting creative practitioners, and providing meaningful opportunities for community engagement through the arts.

The CIC consulted with a range of stakeholders throughout the development and delivery of Who Wants Flowers When They Are Dead?. This included local community groups, individuals with lived experience of bereavement, freelance artists and creative practitioners. Workshops and facilitated discussion sessions were held before and during the exhibition (August–October 2025), providing opportunities for participants to share their experiences, contribute ideas and reflect on the themes of the project. Feedback from these sessions informed the development of the exhibition and helped ensure that the activities remained relevant, inclusive and responsive to the needs of the communities involved. The CIC also maintained regular communication with its funders, Arts Council England and the Architectural Heritage Fund, throughout the funded project.

A director received remuneration for project management services provided in connection with the delivery of the CIC's grant-funded arts project, Who Wants Flowers When They Are Dead?. The remuneration formed part of the project's approved budget and was paid for work undertaken in managing and delivering the project. It was included within the professional fees incurred during the financial year.
