PART 1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANYS ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT During the financial year TAHRIR SQUARE CIC actively pursued its social mission to foster community development cultural integration and civic empowerment Our core objectives focused on supporting local residents bridging cultural gaps and providing accessible educational and developmental resources to empower diverse community groups Key Activities and Direct Community Impact Community Support and Empowerment Initiatives We organised a series of community gatherings networking events and peer support sessions aimed at reducing social isolation and promoting community cohesion These initiatives directly benefited local residents by creating a safe inclusive environment for constructive dialogue and mutual support Educational and Skills Development Workshops The company delivered practical workshops and informal training sessions focusing on personal development communication skills and civic engagement These activities helped participants build essential skills improve self confidence and increase active participation in society Guidance and Community Outreach We acted as a bridge for community members seeking guidance on local resources social integration and community engagement helping individuals and families access local support more effectively Reinvestment of Surplus In accordance with the asset lock and statutory requirements for Community Interest Companies all financial surpluses and income generated during the year were retained and reinvested into maintaining community programmes covering operational costs for public events and expanding outreach activities to maximise community benefit
PART 2 CONSULTATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS Our primary stakeholders include service users local community members volunteers and community partners Throughout the year TAHRIR SQUARE CIC maintained regular communication with stakeholders through feedback sessions after community events open meetings and informal surveys We invited views on the types of support activities and topics most needed by the community Impact of Consultation The feedback received was positive and demonstrated strong demand for culturally inclusive spaces and skills development initiatives In response the company adjusted event schedules and delivery formats to better accommodate working people and families and prioritised civic empowerment and practical personal development within future activities
