3. Financial Commitments

RISK MANAGEMENT The trustees have been aware of the major risk which RESTANZA RETREAT C.I.C. faces with limited capital funds needed for building works. We are currently awaiting Planning Permission Determination and have drafted a planning statement in linear with our business plan that would support our fundraising initiatives to generate s sustainable growth for our business development. The trustees have also examined other operational and business risks which we face and confirm that they have established systems to mitigate the significant risks.

Company activities and impact

Our services are not fully ip and running. Over the past year, we have been working with a team of experts to carry out investigative work to ensure compliance with regulations for planning. We remain hopeful and confident that the planning process have run its course and permission will be granted soon.

Consultation with stakeholders

We holding consultations with community groups and voluntary sector with an intention of creating a high-quality retreat and restaurant. The ongoing community engagement ensure the community are updated about our work. We are waiting planning permission from the Welsh Council to start the building/ renovation project. The process of planning is quite lengthy and costly as we are frequently asked to provide additional information to support the functions of systems/ equipment to be installed.
