1. Legal & Business Education: Our regular, highly impactful educational livestreams - such as our March 2025 legal talk show with expert solicitors - actively educated local business owners and Vietnamese nail salon workers on the UK regulations. Between mid-2025 and 2026, Viet News UK published timely reports analysing Home Office immigration data, informing Vietnamese refugees about a significant drop in asylum approvals for Vietnamese nationals. Some posts were viewed by over 100,000 Vietnamese Facebookers in the UK, Europe and Vietnam. 2. Nail Salon Legal & Business Education: Following law enforcement actions across England this year, we published educational guides such as Fire Safety Violations Force Vietnamese Nail Salon to Close in June 2026, providing crucial compliance knowledge to Vietnamese business owners. 3. Connecting the UK with the EU: Our reporters travelled to Paris in Dec 2025 to provide on-the-scene livestreaming of the Vietnamese Film Week in France, and to Brussels in March 2026 to attend and report on Vietnam’s Business Conference in Brussels. The reports informed and connected thousands of viewers in the UK with the wider European diaspora and showcasing cultural integration. In July 2026, our reporter joined a cultural and culinary roadshow in Slovakia, Vienna and Budapest to serve 3,000 of Facebook viewers. 4. Promoting Community Empowerment through Culture & Sport: The outlet actively co-sponsored and broadcast the 7th annual Vietnamese Football Tour in London and Birmingham (Anh Em FC), and interviewed players to foster physical activity and community. In Feb 2025, our reports and activities at a London Lunar New Year festival drew hundreds of attendees and saw local leaders detail aid provided to over 300 vulnerable women of Vietnamese origin. We have also interviewed British MPs (Vicky Foxcroft, Tim Farron) for their views and support of our community work.
