Team Tasha Fitness is running a limited small group training and Forever Active Kent programme for Adults over 50 currently where director Natasha Brown has 1 year left on a 3 year full time contract. The seated exercise course is helping adults with frailty prevention and there are two more 12 week courses planned. Team Tasha Fitness is intending to trade full time in a year’s time.
We are working in partnership with the Dane Valley residents association to deliver the Forever Active Kent programme and from talking to residents have realised there is a gap in local provision for classes after 6pm for over 50’s. There is 17 years worth of people that can’t attend day classes that neede to improve their health. We are planning more sessions at Millmead Community centre, one of the most deprived Wards in Thanet.
