COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

BRIGHT INSIGHT IDEAS C.I.C.

Company Number: 13685551 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 October 2025

Company activities and impact

The company exists to carry on activities which benefit the community. The company engaged in research to improve equal access to service provision in the interests of social welfare, community cohesion and improving conditions and life chances for local residents. To do this, we used a carry-over grant and utilising volunteers as a resource to listen to community voices and co-design projects, mainly the wellbeing ones. Our main achievements were: Engaged in reconciliation work with conflicting groups on two estates Delivering wellbeing projects for - 63 people who have a disadvantage or have suffered trauma in the community – therapeutic workshops in flower arrangement, yoga, dancing, gardening, knitting and crocheting. dealing with grief, etc. 2 seaside coach & trips for families -65 people went to the seaside Created awareness and climate adaptation especially during heatwaves – more than 300 people reached. This was identified last year at one of our consultation events.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation and co-designing is now embedded in our processes. -We mostly work with preexisting groups in the community and use a baseline questionnaire for people joining groups and end of season/project questionnaires to assess impact. -we have consult with group leaders on a regular basis, sometimes weekly. -we had five main consultations in this reporting year – before the coach trips and continuing during the coach journey with over 50 year olds, 4 focus groups during heatwaves, and before the Christmas event with grieving mothers to start planning for therapeutic activities for the new year.
