Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 30 September 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Company activities and impact

Formed in 1999, the award winning Pericles Theatre Company creates projects. Each year our Theatre Company brings together professional actors and musicians and Pericles students with complex needs. Students are involved in all aspects of the production, from designing and making costumes, masks, props and set through to acting on stage, stage management, fundraising and production. We believe that we all deserve to shine in what we do and be acknowledged as a valued and respected member of our community. Our productions are full of life, colour and delight. Pericles Theatre Company involves many local talented artists and musicians and its’ productions reach enthusiastic audiences. People with complex needs come to us to learn new skills and hone existing ones. As a direct result they can do meaningful work and are appreciated for who they are.
