The company has advertised via Facebook and received many donations of used bicycles and bicycle parts. The company uses a website to explain the ethos of the organisation, advertise bicycles that are available to the community. The donated bicycles are shown on Facebook and the website as being available to disadvantaged members of the local community in exchange for a small donation. Once a bicycle was requested it was overhauled and given to the new owner. Donations for a bicycle varied from £5 to £60. The company also offers a repair service to bicycles worth under £150; these are often uneconomically repairable at a local bile shop. The company supports a local refugee support charity by donating overhauled bikes for the supported refugees. The refugee support organisation now pays for the spare parts used. The company also supplies safety equipment, locks and lights at cost +15%. The company is supporting a community bike park that is being built in the town.
All residents who take a bike, have their bike repaired or donate a bike are requested to leave a message on the Facebook page; some do.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
