Pre & Post-Natal Support for Mums in Sefton & Liverpool Between April and December 2025, Trinity Wellness CIC delivered a series of fully funded wellbe-ing programmes for mothers living in areas of high deprivation across Sefton, including Litherland and Bootle. The programme consisted of four weekly sessions delivered from welcoming community venues including Litherland Family Wellbeing Centre and May Logan Clinic, Bootle. Sessions were de-signed to create a safe, inclusive environment where mothers could attend with their babies, re-moving one of the biggest barriers to participation; childcare. The programme provided access to wellbeing activities that many participants would otherwise be unable to access due to financial pressures or a lack of local services. Each session com-bined practical and holistic approaches known to improve wellbeing, including: Physical activity, Relaxation and mindfulness techniques, Mindset coaching, Group discussion and peer support The programme responded to increasing mental health pressures within the local community and lengthy waiting times for statutory support services. By providing accessible early intervention in community settings, participants were empowered to take positive steps towards improving their overall wellbeing. Community Impact The programme delivered significant benefits across participants' physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Key Outcomes; Improved fitness, physical strength and energy levels, Better quality sleep and increased motivation, Healthier eating habits and improved weight management, Increased confidence, self-worth and emotional resilience, Stronger relationships within the home and family, Reduced stress and anxiety, Increased social connection, peer support and lasting friendships. Knowsley Council Partnership 'Be the Change' Programme – Support for Mums in Kirkby Between April 2025 and March 2026, Trinity Wellness CIC contributed to Knowsley Council's Be the Change initiative, an important programme supporting women and girls across the borough. Our role focused on delivering holistic wellbeing sessions for new and expectant mothers in Kirkby and Huyton. The programme aimed to improve mental, physical and emotional wellbeing by creating safe, welcoming spaces where women could connect with others, build confidence and access practical support. By promoting healthy relationships, self-awareness and positive wellbeing practices, participants were empowered to make informed choices and access appro-priate support services where needed. We delivered five sessions each week across a range of community venues, including Northwood Primary School, The Fitness Pack Gym, Northwood Community Centre, Made to Be Mum, and An Hour for Others in Huyton. The programme adopted a holistic approach to wellbeing, with sessions covering the following areas: Mental Support, Resilience and self-worth workshops delivered by Angela Spencer equipped women with practical tools to build confidence, establish healthy boundaries and strengthen emotional resilience. Physical Support; Lauren Ruane delivered inclusive movement sessions including Boxercise, Strength and Tone, Pilates, and low-impact cardio. Sessions were tailored to individual needs and promoted exercise as a positive form of self-care rather than focusing on appearance or weight. Through our partnership with local gym The Fitness Pack, participants also had the opportunity to build confidence using gym equipment, including spin bikes, during weekly Friday sessions. Emotional Support; Mindfulness, meditation and relaxation sessions delivered by Amy Shillcock provided women with practical techniques to reduce stress, manage feelings of overwhelm and improve emotional wellbeing. Participants learned breathing exercises and relaxation strategies that could be incorporated into everyday life. Key Outcomes As a result of the programme, participants reported significant improvements across their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Mental Health & Personal Empowerment. Increased self-awareness and emotional resilience. Improved confidence and self-worth Greater ability to establish and maintain healthy boundaries. Empowerment Programme for Girls. Delivered in Schools. Trinity Wellness CIC delivered a six-week empowerment programme for girls in Years 8–10 at Lord Derby Academy and Meadow Park Pupil Referral Unit in Huyton. Participants were selected based on individual circumstances, including neurodiversity and eligibility for pupil premium funding. The programme aimed to improve self-esteem, build confidence, and increase understanding of the menstrual cycle within a safe, supportive and trauma-informed environment. Facilitated by three experienced female practitioners, the programme combined movement, mindset coaching and mindfulness to equip participants with practical tools to support their emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. Each week focused on a different area of personal development: Week 1; Connection & Introduction: Icebreakers and group-building activities, an intro-duction to menstrual cycle awareness, and distribution of menstrual cycle trackers. Week 2; Physical Confidence: Fun and engaging Boxercise sessions designed to improve body confidence, boost mood and encourage positive attitudes towards physical activity. Week 3; Mindset & Self-Worth: Interactive activities exploring self-talk, recognising personal strengths and celebrating individuality. The programme helped participants develop greater confidence, emotional regulation and menstrual literacy, enabling them to better understand the connection between their physical and emotional wellbeing. Many of the girls demonstrated genuine enthusiasm for applying what they had learned beyond the sessions, reinforcing the value of continued support as they develop healthy coping strategies and positive wellbeing habits. Key Outcomes; Increased school attendance. Improved punctuality. Increased confidence and self-awareness. Greater engagement in learning and school activities. Stronger relationships with peers.
