Company Number: 15971050 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 September 2025

Company activities and impact

Elite Sports Coaching CIC exists to increase participation in basketball and promote healthy lifestyles within the local community. During the financial year, the company delivered basketball coaching, holiday camps, leagues, competitions and community sports sessions for children, young people and adults across Sussex. The company provided opportunities for participants of all abilities to improve their physical health, confidence, teamwork and personal development in a safe and inclusive environment. Any surplus generated by the company has been retained and applied solely to further the company's community interest objectives, including the delivery and development of future coaching programmes, equipment and community sporting activities.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company consulted with participants, parents, coaches, schools and community partners throughout the year. Feedback was gathered through conversations, email and social media. This feedback has been used to improve coaching sessions, develop new programmes, organise competitions and increase opportunities for young people and adults to participate in basketball within the local community.

Directors' remuneration

During the financial year, directors Gary Nicholson and Hafeez Marlon Abdul each received directors' remuneration of £700. The payments were made on an ad hoc basis to reflect time spent coaching, administering the CIC and delivering community basketball programmes. The remuneration was modest and proportionate to the CIC's limited financial resources, ensuring that the company's primary focus remained on delivering community benefit through accessible sports coaching and activities.
