Balance sheet statements

Company activities and impact

Melksham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. was established as a subsidiary of Chippenham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. in the event that stand-alone units could be created for each locality that Chippenham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. currently serves, and/or to assist families from other localities to understand that Chippenham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. serves their area also by keeping the same branding and corporate styling but using a different name for each area and directing families to Chippenham Unform Exchange C.I.C. This has worked well with families often searching for a uniform exchange in their own locality. As such, Melksham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. hasn't yet operated independently of Chippenham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. and hasn't yet traded in its own right. The activities of Chippenham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. and how these have benefitted the community should be read as applying to Melksham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. also.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation with stakeholders has taken place in the name of Chippenham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. which apply equally to Melksham Uniform Exchange C.I.C. These include: - Inviting community members to volunteer with us; - Communicating regularly with head teachers, pastoral workers and PTAs to maximise our work; - Adapting our scheme to make it accessible to everyone; - Using Facebook so stakeholders can comment on how our scheme can be improved which influences the development, scope and delivery of the company's activities; - Interacting with families to gain feedback on how to best meet their needs; - Collecting data to measure impact; - Seeking feedback from stakeholders as to how the scheme has benefitted them.
