Company activities and impact

During the financial year ended 31 July 2025, Hope4You Housing C.I.C. benefited the community by providing and managing youth hostel and supported housing accommodation, together with residential care and educational support services. These activities supported people who required safe and stable accommodation, including individuals with learning difficulties, mental health needs and substance misuse challenges. The company’s services helped residents improve their safety and wellbeing, develop independent-living skills and participate more fully in the community. The company incurred £666,080 in housing costs and £55,312 in light, heat and power, demonstrating the substantial resources committed to providing and maintaining accommodation. It also employed an average of 20 people during the year, compared with 10 in the previous year, increasing its capacity to support residents while also providing employment opportunities.

Consultation with stakeholders

During the financial year, the company consulted with residents and service users through regular support meetings, informal discussions and opportunities to raise concerns or provide feedback. Staff views were obtained through team meetings, supervision sessions and day-to-day discussions about residents’ needs and service delivery. The company also communicated with local authorities, referring agencies, healthcare professionals and other support providers involved with residents. Feedback received was used to review individual support arrangements, address accommodation or maintenance issues, improve safeguarding and safety procedures, and ensure that services continued to meet residents’ changing needs.

Directors' remuneration

During the financial year ended 31 July 2025, total director’s remuneration of £12,500 was paid as salary to the sole director, Michael Asumadu. The company also incurred £469 in employer’s PAYE and National Insurance contributions. No other directors’ remuneration was paid.
