Euro 2025 Sports Project The Grange Pavilion Youth Forum delivered a football-focused engagement project across Mount Stuart Primary School, St Mary’s Primary School, Ilm School and Hamadryad Primary School, using the excitement of Euro 2025 to promote physical activity, teamwork and positive participation among young people. Euro 2025 Watch Party We hosted a range of community watch party’s for Euro 2025, bringing together residents of all ages to celebrate football, strengthen community connections and create a welcoming space for shared experiences. Museum Of Wales Project - Voices Of Grangetown Working alongside local partners, young people explored the rich history and heritage of Grangetown through visits, research and creative activities, helping them develop a stronger understanding of their community and local identity. Ramadan 2025 Throughout Ramadan, the Youth Forum supported a range of community activities and initiatives that encouraged reflection, togetherness and community spirit, while providing opportunities for young people to contribute and volunteer. Eid in the Park Alongside our sponsors, The National Infrastructure Commission For Wales, Youth Forum delivered our highly anticipated Eid in the Park, which brought thousands of residents together for a free community celebration featuring family activities, sports, food stalls and entertainment, creating an inclusive and welcoming event for the whole community Careers Week The Youth Forum delivered Careers Week alongside Community Gateway, providing activities designed to inspire young people by introducing them to a variety of career pathways, local opportunities and positive role models from different sectors. Love Grangetown Alongside Community Gateway, Youth Forum delivered Love Grangetown. Through the Love Grangetown initiative, young people took an active role in improving and celebrating their local area through community engagement, volunteering and activities that promoted civic pride. Youth Forum Awards The Youth Forum Awards recognised and celebrated the achievements, dedication and contributions of young people, volunteers and community members who have made a positive impact throughout the year.
We worked with our key partners and stakeholders to identify and recruit young people who want to gain skills, development opportunities and work experience to increase their chances of leading fulfilling lives. Our partnership of key stakeholders coming together with such as Grange Pavilion,(who provide us with the location and space to carry out activities) and other community partners and schools who all directly work with disadvantaged and Black, Asian minority young people aged 11-25 from the areas of Grangetown, Butetown and Riverside, and we will collaborate with them on this project so they can signpost young people who want to join our Forum will be able to volunteer and develop their skills.
