Company activities and impact

During the financial year, EnableElite CIC focused on establishing the organisation and laying the foundations for delivering long term community benefit. This included developing the company's governance, establishing its mission and objectives, creating its online presence, building relationships with relevant organisations and planning future programmes to support people with disabilities and additional needs. The company also worked to raise awareness of its purpose and engaged with the local community to better understand the needs of its intended beneficiaries. Although EnableElite CIC was in its start up phase and had not yet begun delivering its planned programmes, the work undertaken during the financial year has created a strong foundation for future activities aimed at improving confidence, skills, leadership opportunities, employability and social inclusion for people with disabilities and special educational needs.

Consultation with stakeholders

EnableElite CIC's stakeholders include people with disabilities and additional needs, community organisations, and the company's directors. During the financial year, the company consulted stakeholders through informal discussions, networking opportunities and meetings with directors and community contacts. These conversations helped the company better understand the needs of its intended beneficiaries and the challenges they face in accessing opportunities for personal development and employment. As a result of this feedback, EnableElite CIC refined its plans to focus on developing programmes that promote confidence, skills development, leadership opportunities, employability and social inclusion for people with disabilities and additional needs.
