Foundation of Progress CIC (FoP) works with young people across Islington and Camden to prevent youth violence and improve wellbeing through early intervention, mentoring, sport, and community development. During the financial year, the company's activities benefited the community in the following ways: delivered a six-week Summer Football Camp with Jubba Youth and Arsenal in the Community at the Arsenal Hub, engaging 52 boys aged 16 to 19, reaching full 40-participant weekly capacity for five of six weeks, and including a financial exploitation awareness workshop ran Running With The Brothers, a weekly dawn running and mentoring programme at Emirates Stadium, engaging over 100 young men to date through group runs, reflection, and shared meals delivered a Young Women's Wellbeing Workshop with 24/8 Impact and the Galbur Foundation, engaging 15 young women aged 14 to 19 in creative healing and CBT-based techniques, with unanimously positive feedback funded the Market Road football team so that camp participants and other young people can continue playing football for free in local leagues delivered a drugs awareness workshop on 24 October 2025, reaching 35 young people delivered Community Calling, a panel event at Amnesty International UK on 10 April 2026, bringing together 35 young people with panelists from local organisations to discuss youth safety, opportunity, and community leadership provided ongoing one-to-one mentoring, group workshops, and family engagement sessions, with referral pathways for young people at risk of exploitation, exclusion, or violence built and strengthened partnerships with organisations including Jubba Youth, Arsenal in the Community, 24/8 Impact, Galbur Foundation, UrbanRise, and Amnesty International UK held a seat on the London Violence Reduction Unit's Young People's Action Group, providing a direct link between community delivery and strategic decision-making on youth violence reduction across London Of the 52 young people on the summer camp, 45 came from Islington, 6 from Camden and 1 from Haringey, showing the project's reach is concentrated in but not limited to its home borough.
