Company activities and impact

Community Benefit Statement Glow Forward CIC was incorporated on 18 June 2025 to provide accessible wellbeing and confidence-building support for women experiencing mental health challenges, low self-esteem, recovering from domestic abuse and other difficult life circumstances. As this was the organisation’s first operational year, our focus was on establishing the CIC, securing funding, building partnerships and beginning the delivery of community programmes. Glow Forward CIC successfully secured funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and Sport England, enabling us to launch free wellbeing workshops in January 2026. During our first operational year, Glow Forward CIC established referral pathways with local organisations, secured funding from two national funders and began delivering free community workshops to women who may otherwise have faced barriers to accessing support. Our workshops provide a safe, welcoming environment where women can improve their confidence, emotional wellbeing and resilience while building meaningful connections with others. Sessions have included yoga, journalling, creative wellbeing and personal development activities, all designed to help women move forward with greater confidence and self-belief. During the year, Glow Forward CIC established strong relationships with local organisations, including Support Staffordshire, whose social prescribers referred women to our workshops while they were waiting to access other support services. We also promoted our workshops through social media and posters displayed in local GP surgeries, helping us reach women who may not otherwise have accessed support. Participant feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with women reporting increased confidence, improved wellbeing, reduced feelings of isolation and a greater sense of belonging. The impact of our work has also been recognised by partner organisations. Following the success of our community workshops, Support Staffordshire featured Glow Forward CIC in a detailed article highlighting the positive difference the organisation is making within the local community. As a result, Support Staffordshire commissioned Glow Forward CIC to deliver a paid wellbeing workshop for its staff. The income generated from this workshop was reinvested into the CIC through the purchase of equipment and resources to strengthen the organisation and support our ongoing mission of improving the wellbeing and confidence of the women we serve. The success of our first operational year has laid strong foundations for the continued growth of Glow Forward CIC. We remain committed to providing accessible, high-quality wellbeing programmes that empower women to rebuild confidence, improve their mental wellbeing and create lasting positive change in their lives.
