Company activities and impact

We have continued to develop ‘Next Take’ - our short film series which is also a development project for emerging actors. We acknowledge it can be difficult to navigate the industry and that it can be even harder to get to experiment with roles so we created ‘Next Take’ in 2024. With the casting call for the new installment, we have allowed the actors to opt in for us to contact them when we film a new installment so it can also help build long-lasting relationships between emerging actors and the company. We have continued to work with Tatty Pants Theatre Company on their Fringe show ‘24 Weeks’. Fin Ross Russell has attended their online development sessions as well as an in-person workshop session before their Fringe run. During their 2025 Fringe run, we were involved as an Associate Producer for the show and assisted with various logistical needs. After the Fringe, we kept involved in the development of their next project. We used that time to also start the development of our Fringe consultancy for emerging artists. We were able to have conversations with various emerging artists to understand what were the pain points for them at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We have then researched the offers out there, what was suitable or not for emerging artists to understand how we can help. Just before the end of the financial year, we launched Fairy Fringe Godfather - our bespoke Fringe consultancy for emerging artists.
