Going concern
The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. This may not be appropriate because the company’s liabilities exceed its assets. In the opinion of the directors this basis is correct in that this situation will be reversed once the company again commences to trade profitably. The company has also received confirmation that over the next twelve months it will have adequate financial support from its largest creditor, which is owed £19,434.
