| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| The financial statements are presented in Pound Sterling (£), which is the company's functional and presentation currency. |
| Critical accounting judgements and key sources of estimation uncertainty |
| The preparation of financial statements requires management to make judgements, estimates and assumptions that affect the amounts reported in the financial statements. |
| The director does not consider that there are any significant judgements or key sources of estimation uncertainty that have a material effect on the amounts recognised in these financial statements. |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents commission income earned from mortgage brokerage, insurance brokerage and related financial advisory services provided to customers during the year. |
| Revenue is recognised when the performance obligation has been satisfied, being when the relevant service has been provided and the company becomes entitled to the commission. Revenue is measured at the fair value of the consideration receivable, net of value added tax. |

| Financial instruments |
| The Company has elected to apply the provisions of Section 11 'Basic Financial Instruments'. Financial instruments are recognised in the Company's balance sheet when the Company becomes party to the contractual provisions of the instrument. |

| Short-term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment. Loans receivable are initially measured at transaction price (including transaction costs) and subsequently measured at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment. |

| Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |

| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
| Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
| The company does not operate a defined contribution pension scheme. |
| Going concern |
| The company ceased trading on 31 May 2026 and no further trading activity is anticipated. The director intends to realise the company's remaining assets, settle all outstanding liabilities and subsequently apply for the company to be struck off the Register of Companies. |
| The director has reviewed the company's financial position and is satisfied that the company has sufficient resources to meet its liabilities as they fall due and that all liabilities are expected to be settled in full. The company remains solvent and continues to have adequate cash resources to enable it to complete the orderly winding down of its affairs. |
