The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 August 2025

Principal activities of the company

The Community Interest Company runs The Canalside Residents Association CIC, a group set up for the benefit of the owners, residents and tenants of Canalside, following damage to and loss of personal belongings during flooding in Canalside on 27th February 2020, activities have benefited the community in the following ways: The directors have Liaised with residents to help resolve warranty issues with flood doors. The directors have kept in contact with Leeder the agent for the Tennant Canal Company who own the Tennant Canal regarding such issues as the road surface and work carried out of levelling the Car park surface. The company’s stakeholders are the residents, owners and tenants of Canalside. The directors of the company live or have lived in Canalside, acting on behalf of the residents owners and tenants of Canalside. The company’s Directors communicate regularly through Canalside Residents Facebook page, WhatsApp Social media and by personal e-mail where private matters are discussed The residents have been given information regarding repairs to faulty flood doors that were fitted by Whitehouse a sub contactor of NRW. The Canal Agents Leeder were consulted and acted to level the pot holes in the car park at the end of Canalside. The Agents Leeder have been consulted regarding the poor state of Canalside Road that they own, the directors of Canalside Residents CIC have requested Scalpings be delivered to repair the surface There have been no changes in the directors this year,
