Principal activities of the company

The Director presents this report for the financial year ended 31st August 2025. Principal Activities The company was established to deliver creative and innovative opportunities that support the development and wellbeing of young people. Through creative practice, the company seeks to promote imagination, confidence, self-esteem, resilience, and personal growth while creating equitable opportunities for young people to reach their full potential. Review of Activities During the financial year, the company did not undertake direct programme delivery. Instead, its activities were focused on research, professional development, strategic planning, and building partnerships to support the future growth of the organisation. A significant proportion of the year was dedicated to researching the needs of a specific demographic of young people to ensure that future services are evidence-informed, innovative, and responsive to the needs of the communities the company aims to serve. This work has provided a strong foundation for the development of future programmes and community engagement activities. The Director has also continued doctoral (PhD) research that aligns closely with the company's objectives. This research has strengthened the organisation's knowledge base and will support the design of future services that are informed by current research, best practice, and lived experience. Throughout the year, the company has actively engaged with organisations across the education, voluntary and community, and private sectors through professional training, conferences, networking opportunities, and community engagement events. These activities have increased awareness of the company's vision, strengthened professional relationships, and established opportunities for future collaboration. Community Benefit Although direct services were not delivered during the reporting period, the work undertaken has strengthened the company's capacity to deliver meaningful community benefit in future years. The research, professional development, and stakeholder engagement completed during the year have created a solid platform for developing creative, inclusive, and evidence-based programmes that will positively support young people and the wider community. Future Developments The company intends to build on the research and partnerships established during the year by developing and delivering creative programmes which also help support young people to build portfolios to help support their re-engagement that support young people's education, wellbeing, confidence, and personal development. The Director remains committed to ensuring that all future activities are informed by research, collaboration, and the evolving needs of the communities the company serves. The Director believes that the work undertaken during the financial year has positioned the company for sustainable growth and increased community impact in the years ahead. This work will ensure that future programmes are designed with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the communities we aim to support.
