    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises income from grants, donations, contracts for services, and other trading activities. Income is recognised when the company becomes entitled to it, the amount can be measured reliably, and it is probable that the economic benefits will be received. Revenue from the provision of services is recognised as the services are delivered. Grants and donations are recognised in accordance with the terms and conditions attached to the funding.

Details of Consultation with Stakeholders During the financial year, the Oak Initiative conducted regular consultations with key stakeholders to ensure that its activities were responsive to community needs and aligned with development priorities. Stakeholders consulted included community leaders, local government representatives, beneficiaries, partner organizations, educational institutions, healthcare providers, women's and youth groups, and donors. Consultation activities included: Community meetings to identify priority needs and gather feedback on ongoing projects. Focus group discussions with women, youth, and vulnerable groups to ensure inclusive participation. Meetings with local government officials to coordinate activities and align projects with local development plans. Engagement with partner organizations to strengthen collaboration, share experiences, and avoid duplication of efforts.
