During the financial year, Target Devon CIC continued to provide supported employment and work experience opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and other barriers to employment across North Devon. We supported individuals to develop confidence, independence and employability skills through personalised job coaching, workplace training and real-life work experience within our community businesses, We worked closely with employers, families and partner organisations to create inclusive opportunities and ensure people received the support they needed to succeed in the workplace. We also assisted individuals to access funding such as Access to Work and Direct Payments, helping remove barriers to sustainable employment. In addition to supporting individuals, our community businesses promoted environmental sustainability by encouraging the reuse, recycling and repurposing of donated goods and textiles, reducing waste while providing affordable products for local residents. Through these activities, Target Devon CIC has continued to strengthen community inclusion, improve wellbeing, increase employment opportunities and create lasting social value for people across North Devon.
