    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Financial Reporting Standard 101

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes. Turnover includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services. Turnover is reduced for estimated customer returns, rebates and other similar allowances.

Company activities and impact

The festival fostered a strong sense of community by : - Engaging volunteers - Public participation - Local partnerships - Festive mood - Environmental awareness - Community building - Public engagement The CIC did not deliver a festival during this period due to insufficient volunteer capacity to support the planning and delivery of the event. The board kept the situation under review throughout the year. No formal stakeholder events or consultations were held during this period given the cancellation of the festival. The directors remained engaged with the local community around South Dock Marina, Canada Water, Bermondsey and Rotherhithe.
