The company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 31 August 2025.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 31 August 2025 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for:

(a)	ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and

(b)

preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

The financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

In accordance with Section 444 of the Companies Act 2006, the Income Statement has not been delivered.

1.	STATUTORY INFORMATION

Church Lane Surgery Limited is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2.	ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Investment property

In accordance with FRS102, Section 1A, the company's investment property is included in the balance sheet at fair value. The investment property is initially recognised at cost and subsequently measured at fair value at each reporting date. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from changes in fair value is recognised in the profit and loss.

Financial instruments

The company only enters into basic financial instruments transactions that result in the recognition of financial assets and liabilities like other debtors, other creditors and loans.

The basic financial instruments are initially recognised at transaction price and subsequently carried at amortised cost.

Operating income

Operating income is measured as the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts and rebates. Operating income is in respect of rental income and is recognised on a straight line basis over the term of the lease.

The bank loan with Barclays is secured on the company's investment property and its assets.

9.	RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

During the year the Directors loaned the company £Nil (2024: £198,197). A balance of £198,197 is owed to the Directors as at 31 August 2024 and 31 August 2025.. No interest is being charged on this loan and the loan is repayable on demand. The balance is included in other creditors.

During the period rent of £84,000 (2024: £10,356) was charged to a partnership in which the Directors are also partners.

10.	LENGTH OF ACCOUNTING PERIOD

The company was incorporated on 25 August 2023. The comparative period therefore represents a period of 12 months and 7 days.
