The company runs a free, inclusive community run club serving Falmouth, Penryn and the surrounding villages of Cornwall, with a particular emphasis on improving physical and mental wellbeing through running and movement. The company was incorporated in October 2024 as Shakeout Limited and converted to a community interest company in September 2025. During the financial period ended 31 October 2025, the club's activities have benefited the community in the following ways: - local people, including complete beginners and those who would not run alone, have been able to take part in free, led group sessions three times a week in Falmouth and Penryn, continuing through the winter months - inactive residents have built fitness and confidence through a free nine-week Couch to 5K programme, following the NHS approach, finishing with a celebratory 5km - runners of all backgrounds and abilities have been welcomed through the club's queer-led, inclusive approach, including a Pride run held in support of Cornwall Pride - members' wider physical and mental health has been supported through yoga, Pilates and recovery sessions, and through discounts arranged with local wellbeing providers - trained volunteer leaders and committee members have gained experience and an active role in organising and delivering the club's activities - £773 was raised for ShelterBox through a club raffle, with a further small donation to charitable causes made from company funds - local cafes, venues and businesses have benefited from the footfall generated by hosting the club's sessions and events.
