This has been a quieter year for Earthself. Two significant periods of ill health affecting our Founding Director substantially reduced our operational capacity, delaying planned activity and requiring us to place several initiatives on hold. What we did deliver was focused on programme development and gathering the data needed to strengthen our methodology. Capacity and Leadership In January 2025, our Founding Director experienced a period of illness involving influenza and an asthma attack. This delayed the launch of the NatureProcess Coach Training from its planned start to May 2025 and impacted our capacity for sales and marketing. In June 2025, she suffered a ruptured appendix, requiring emergency surgery and a ten-day hospital admission. These events reduced our capacity to deliver services across the year. Several planned initiatives were paused, and our progress reflects a deliberate choice to sustain the organisation and its Director rather than overextend. NatureProcess Coach Training The NatureProcess Coach Training launched in May 2025, delayed from its original start date and running only one cohort instead of two. Two participants joined this cohort. We also began updating the programme material in alignment with ICF Code of Ethics and Core Competency updates as well as developing a new module based on graduate feedback and conducting a neuro-inclusive review of materials. Becoming EarthConnected In August 2025 we launched our Becoming Earth Connected web events, running four sessions between August and October 2025 with approximately sixty participants attending across the series. These events provided valuable data and participant input that has directly informed the further development of our methodology. Coaching on Behalf of Earth (Pilot) We piloted Coaching on Behalf of Earth as a self-paced programme, with ten participants registering. Completion rates were low, and we have placed the programme on hold while we reassess its design and delivery model. We consider this a useful early test: the low completion rate provides clear information about what a self-paced format can and cannot support for this material. Dormant Initiatives The following initiatives were dormant during this financial year as a result of reduced capacity: - Emiel's Food Forest - no activity undertaken this year - Earthself Initiatives - dormant - Earth Impact Assessment Tool - no further development following prototyping work in the previous year We intend to revisit each of these as capacity allows. Sustainable Development Goals Our work this year contributed to the following UN Sustainable Development Goals: - SDG 4 – Quality Education: Through the NatureProcess Coach Training and Becoming Earth Connected events, we supported individuals to develop skills, awareness, and confidence in Earth-connected practice. - SDG 13 – Climate Action: Our programmes continue to support individuals and organisations to take practical, nature-positive action.
- We conducted a survey of recent NatureProcess coach training graduates to help inform the further development of the programme, holding a number of 1:1 interviews with respondents. - All participants for Becoming EarthConnected were invited to provide feedback in real time during the live events which was then collated and analysed. - Emails requesting feedback were sent to all participants of Coaching on Behalf of Earth.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £9,096. An additional £3,818 was paid to directors to offset existing director loans made previously to the business. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
