Company activities and impact

During the financial year the companies activities have benefited the community in the following ways 1. Conwy Mind 15 hour Live stream to raise money Using our PigPod trailer as a stage and podcast base on the quay in Conwy we invited 20 guest speakers whose businesses are connected to wellbeing to speak to use and share their knowledge, interspersed with live music. The Steam for Mind event lasted 15 hours and was available to watch live on YouTube and then as free audio podcasts. The event raised over 300 pounds for Conwy Mind 2. Pride Colwyn Bay Raising awareness and giving diverse voices a platform we created podcasts available on YouTube celebrating peoples' stories using the PigPod as a base. 3. National Trust Uwch Conwy project Large community engagement project to connect with people across Conwy with the vital environmental work taking place to tackle flooding. Work has engaged with over 1000 people through workshops and activities 4. Amdani Dancing in the dark - mentoring and filming Supporting a local young person who is a fantastic writer but faces challenges developing her craft due to cerebral palsy. We worked with her to develop her idea into a monologue and then into a short film using her interest in 1940 s style as inspiration. The finished piece is on the National Libraries Wales website 5. Connect and Flourish - Nothing about us, without us Creating opportunities for Welsh speaking and ethnically diverse communities and artists. Large project working with Venue Cymru, Menter Iaith and Race Council Cymru. 6. Cae Derw Donated use of the PigPod to a local community group to be used as a first aid post.
