COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

SHE IS YOU C.I.C.

Company Number: 13520516 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 October 2025

Company activities and impact

During the reporting period, She Is You CIC continued its mission to empower women and girls through health, wellbeing, personal development and community engagement. Our activities focused on improving physical and mental wellbeing, increasing confidence, reducing social isolation, and creating opportunities for women to thrive within their communities. One of our key areas of delivery was the provision of regular movement and wellbeing sessions designed to encourage women to lead more active, healthier lifestyles. As part of this work, we secured funding to deliver a health and wellbeing initiative in partnership with the NHS, enabling us to promote local health services and raise awareness of the support and resources available to residents across South West London. In January 2025, we delivered our Winter Wellness event, bringing women together to focus on movement, wellbeing and community connection during a time of year when many experience increased isolation and reduced physical activity. The event received significant public interest and was featured on BBC London News, helping to raise the profile of both the organisation and the importance of accessible community wellbeing initiatives. As a direct result of the success and impact of this event, we secured further funding in July 2025 to continue delivering our movement and wellness programme, enabling us to expand opportunities for women and girls across the London Borough of Sutton to participate in regular physical activity and adopt healthier lifestyles. During the year, we were also awarded funding through the Sutton Innovation Fund to design, pilot and deliver our Dear Future Self Programme an innovative six-week intergenerational personal development programme delivered in partnership with Sutton Women's Centre. The programme brought together women from different generations to learn from one another, build confidence and invest in their personal and professional futures. Participants took part in a range of workshops covering employability skills, including CV writing and interview preparation, alongside sessions on personal branding, confidence building, goal setting, vision planning and personal growth. The programme created a supportive environment where women could reflect on their aspirations, develop practical life skills and build lasting peer networks. The programme concluded with a celebratory graduation event recognising participants' achievements, alongside a unique digital billboard campaign displayed across bus stops in Sutton, showcasing each participant and celebrating their personal journeys. This public recognition not only boosted participants' confidence and sense of achievement but also inspired wider members of the community by highlighting positive stories of local women investing in their futures. Overall, the activities delivered during the reporting period contributed to improved physical health, enhanced confidence, increased social connectedness and greater access to personal development opportunities for women and girls. Through strategic partnerships with organisations including the NHS and Sutton Women's Centre, alongside local funding partners, She Is You CIC continued to strengthen community cohesion, tackle health inequalities and empower women to lead healthier, more confident and fulfilling lives

Consultation with stakeholders

She Is You works with a range of stakeholders who play a vital role in shaping, supporting, and influencing the organisation’s work. Our key stakeholders include: Service Users: Women and girls Youth Leadership Team: A group of young women who act as our ears to the ground in shaping our programme content. Advisory Board: A group of professionals with a varied skillset who offer strategic advice, oversight, and governance support. We ensure that our stakeholders are regularly consulted through both formal and informal channels. These include: Participant Surveys and Verbal Feedback: We routinely gather feedback from service users at the end of sessions and through to assess programme impact and gather suggestions for improvement. Youth Leadership Meetings: Our youth leadership team meets regularly to review current activities, propose new ideas, and flag any concerns or needs from young people in the community. Advisory Board Reviews: Board members are consulted quarterly to assess progress and inform strategic planning. Actions Taken in Response to Feedback In response to feedback from older participants requesting more health-related information, we integrated Winter Health sessions into our regular dance fitness classes, in partnership with the NHS. Young women expressed a desire for more career and self-confidence support, which led to the continued delivery of our Dear Future Self programme. Feedback from both young and older participants highlighted the need for greater connection between generations, leading to the pilot of our intergenerational development workshops.
