| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
| Foreign currencies |
| Assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate of exchange ruling at the date of transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating result. |
| Debtors and creditors receivable / payable within one year |
| Debtors and creditors with no stated interest rate and receivable or payable within one year are recorded at transaction price. Any losses arising from impairment are recognised in the profit and loss account in other administrative expenses. |
| Cash and cash equivalents |
| Cash and cash equivalents comprise cash at bank and in hand, demand deposits with banks and other short-term highly liquid investments with original maturities of three months or less and bank overdrafts. In the statement of financial position, bank overdrafts are shown within borrowings or current liabilities, but for the purpose of the Statement of Cash Flows bank overdrafts are considered part of cash equivalents as they are payable on demand and form an integral part of the company's cash management. |

| The directors and shareholders have indicated that they will provide support to the company and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. |

| 8. | RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES |
| Through common ownership, Collington Capital Partners LLP and The Harriet Collington Foundation are considered to be related parties. |
| During the year Collington Capital Partners LLP recharged £45,605 (2025 - £17,236) (net) of costs and time fees to Collington Capital Ltd. All recharges were carried out on an arm's length basis. As at 31 March 2026 £22,119 (2025 - £11,153) (gross) was outstanding and is included in creditors. |
| There were no transactions with The Harriet Collington Foundation and no balance is outstanding as at the Balance Sheet date. |
| 9. | ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY |
| The company was under the control of Mrs O C Dickson by virtue of both her direct shareholding in the company and indirectly by her holdings in Collington Capital Partners LLP and The Harriet Collington Foundation. |
