For the year ending 30 April 2026 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
The company has taken advantage of section 444(1) of the Companies Act 2006 and opted not to deliver to the registrar a copy of the company's Income and Expenditure Account.

Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
Farnham Bid Limited is a private company, limited by guarantee, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 15390859 . The registered office is No.11 Riverside, Riverside Park, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7UG.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.
2.2. Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable in respect of BID levies and where applicable, other income received in order to assist with the company's operations, excluding value added tax. Levy income is recognised at the value of the total levy charged to levy payers for the accounting period. Provisions are recognised in respect of unpaid levy balances at the reporting date.
2.3. Tangible Fixed Assets and Depreciation
Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of the fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following bases:

2.4. Taxation
The directors consider that BID levy income falls within the principle of mutual trading and is therefore not subject to corporation tax. Corporation tax is recognised in respect of any non-mutual income arising during the year.
2.5. Pensions
The company operates a defined pension contribution scheme. Contributions are charged to the Income and Expenditure Account as they become payable in accordance with the rules of the scheme. Amounts not paid are shown in other creditors in the balance sheet.
2.6. Trade and other debtors
Trade and other debtors are initially recognised at fair value and thereafter stated at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less impairment losses for bad and doubtful debts.
2.7. Cash and cash equivalents
Cash is represented by cash in hand and deposits with financial institutions repayable without penalty or notice of not more than 24 hours.
2.8. Trade and other creditors
Short term creditors are measured at the transaction price. Other financial liabilities, including bank loans, are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method.
