2Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

Tangible assets depreciation policy
Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less accumulated depreciation and any impairment losses.
Depreciation is provided on a straight-line basis over the estimated useful economic lives of the assets, so as to write down the cost of the assets evenly over their expected period of use.

Useful lives are estimated based on the expected period of use by the company and the condition of assets at acquisition. Second-hand assets are depreciated over their remaining estimated useful economic lives.

Useful lives determined during the 2024-2026 period:
3D printers, laser cutters and fixed production equipment: 4 years

Depreciation is charged from the date the asset is brought into use.
The Company's capitalisation threshold for the 2024-2026 accounting period is £40.
