Consultation with stakeholders

The company stakeholders are local residents and residents of neighbouring communities that attend Marshals Cheer and Dance. The Directors of the company have lived in the neighbouring borough of Newham their whole lives and developed the business model for the cheerleading and dance program based on their combined 45+ years experiences within the cheerleading industry as National Champion athletes and coaches. Everyone attending the program fills out a questionnaire yearly which has specific questions like age, gender and where they live. This helps to build a profile on the percentage of males/females, age ranges, ethnicity and percentage of local community attending the program. We also hold several meetings roughly 4-5, which allows stakeholders to ask questions and give feedback on the service provided, they talk about what they thought didn’t work well and what did work well while offering ideas. We have an open suggestion service where stakeholders can email suggestions on services/classes they would like us to deliver at Marshals Cheer and Dance. Under 16 year olds continue to remain the most popular age group. We have a wide range of ethnicities attending the program with white and Black British being the most prominent ethnicity. We found that the stakeholders wanted us to offer more tumbling classes and have a dedicated space of our own, this year we have successfully done this and been able to offer more tumble classes and camps to local children who do not attend our program regularly. We believe this will have a positive impact on the growth of Marshals Cheer and Dance.
