Prestwood Community Housing CIC continued to provide safe, stable housing for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs, helping people live as independently as possible within their communities. Throughout the year, we worked closely with local authorities, healthcare professionals and support providers to ensure residents had not only a place to live, but the right environment to build confidence, develop everyday life skills and achieve their personal goals. Some of our key achievements included: -Providing safe, well-maintained homes where people feel secure and supported. -Helping residents develop independent living skills such as budgeting, cooking, managing their tenancy and accessing their local community. -Encouraging social inclusion by supporting people to take part in volunteering, education, employment and community activities. -Working in partnership with professionals and families to achieve positive outcomes and reduce the need for unnecessary hospital admissions or placement breakdowns. -Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, quality assurance and property management to ensure residents received the best possible support. -Continuing to explore funding and partnership opportunities that will help us grow our impact and support more people in the future. Our aim remains simple: to provide quality housing that gives people the stability, confidence and opportunities they need to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Prestwood Community Housing CIC continued to engage nine key stakeholder groups - residents, families and care coordinators, local authorities, NHS partners, staff, volunteers, neighbours, regulators/funders, and partner charities - through structured surveys, consultation forums, and regular review meetings. Feedback this year continued to highlight the importance of personalised support, greater mental health awareness, and improved communication channels. In response, the company maintained the support planning templates and staff mental health training introduced in the prior year and continued to build on its stakeholder communication strategy to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
