Company activities and impact

HAWFC continues to provide daily sessions for its members in all aspects of fitness training. The facility opens for nine hours every weekday in its primary aim to enable the community to keep fit. The Legacy of the Centres Performance success continued with 3 Gold Medal Winners at the 2024 European Masters Weightlifting Championships in Huge Sund, Norway, followed by a Gold and Silver in Albania in the 2025 Championships. At all levels from Junior upwards the Centre provides specific training to all the Athlete community on Anglesey. Our small volunteer management team continue to provide sound decisions based on decades of knowledge which makes our CIC a leading provider of affordable fitness, available to all. Our weekly sessions for adults with learning disabilities, on Thursdays and Fridays is a fantastic example of our CICs ensuring inclusion as a main priority. The year has brought major changes; our centre is simply a huge asset to the people of Anglesey and further afield. Thanks to the unfailing spirit of a few individual’s that started the CIC in 2011.
