Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2026 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit & loss account.

1. Accounting policies

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

Turnover policy

The turnover shown in the profit and loss account represents revenue recognised by the company in respect of goods and services supplied during the period, exclusive of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

Tangible fixed assets and depreciation policy

Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life: Plant & machinery 25 to 33% on a reducing balance basis

Valuation and information policy

Inventories Stocks and work -in-progress are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items. Cost includes all direct expenditure and a proportion of fixed and variable overheads where appropriate.

Other accounting policies

Other accounting policies Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the period of the lease. Deferred taxation is provided in full in respect of taxation deferred by timing differences between the treatment of certain items for taxation and accounting purposes. Deferred taxation is calculated at the rates of tax that are expected to apply in the periods when the timing differences will reverse and has not been discounted. Financial instruments Basic financial instruments are recognised at amortised cost, except for investments in non-convertible preference and nonputtable ordinary shares which are measured at fair value, with changes recognised in profit or loss. Derivative financial instruments are initially recorded at cost and thereafter at fair value with changes recognised in profit or loss.

5. Creditors: amounts falling due after more than one year note

There are bank loans totalling £511,793 outstanding at the year end. The first of these, with £183,284 outstanding, is secured by a first, fixed and floating, charge over all assets of the company, and is repayable over 60 months attracting an interest rate of 16.75% per annum. The second, with £328,509 outstanding, attracts an interest rate of 9.2% per annum and is repayable over 72 months, it is unsecured but is subject to a personal guarantee, signed by the director.
