Company activities and impact

During the reporting period, Two Twos Art CIC secured grant funding to expand its programme of creative community engagement through arts and culture. Delivery commenced on a grant funded programme focused on improving Black mental health through creative engagement. The programme began during this financial year and will continue into the next reporting period, enabling the organisation to reach more people and deliver a greater number of workshops and community activities. The organisation delivered creative workshops using art as a tool to celebrate Caribbean heritage, strengthen community connections and encourage intergenerational learning and wellbeing. Workshops provided safe, welcoming spaces for participants to express themselves creatively, share lived experiences and build a greater sense of belonging. Two Twos Art CIC also developed partnerships with local community organisations, enabling the organisation to reach a wider range of participants and strengthen the impact of its programmes. These collaborations supported the delivery of meaningful cultural initiatives celebrating the contributions of the Windrush generation while promoting inclusion, wellbeing and community cohesion. Grant funding received during the year has enabled the organisation to strengthen its organisational capacity, broaden its programme of activities and lay the foundations for future community projects. Two Twos Art CIC remains committed to using creativity, culture and heritage to improve wellbeing, tackle isolation and create opportunities for communities that have historically been underrepresented.
