COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

AND GATHER CIC

Company Number: 16165306 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 January 2026

Company activities and impact

AND GATHER CIC spent its first year of operation, 06-01-25 to 05-01-26 focusing on fundraising and beginning to deliver its first arts project. After successfully receiving funding from the Arts Council England back in December 2025 we delivered the first 3 events of our project 'This Place Meant - a sound pilgrimage of Kent's heritage. The project benefitted the community through the following ways: - Over the first 3 events there were 200 people in attendance. This covered our local area of Folkestone and Dover as well as further north in the region in Maidstone. - Those attending experienced: 1) 3 immersive sound baths 2) 3 historical tours of the locations, connecting people and place 3) 5 local artists/musicians - All events offered on a pay what you can basis to remove financial barriers. - 95% of attendees who answered our questionnaire said they would come again. Project report available on request)

Consultation with stakeholders

- Directors, project manager, and partner venues hold pre and post event meetings for evaluation of impact. - After each event we made available feedback forms, printed and digital, so we can better understand impact and needs of community

Directors' remuneration

Directors have received remuneration for specific roles in delivering the project. As per the accounts: - Didier Rochard received £340 for his role as producer of the project (please note at the time he wasn't yet a director, having become one only recently) His role involved liaising with venues and artists. - Andre Verissimo received £1050 for artistic role (one of the artists) in the 3 events. Also note that there are some entries in the accounts where Andre has been paid for costs such as buying a subwoofer, pay volunteer, hire of church and marketing. This has to do with some payments having originally been made from his personal account, and then the CIC payin it back. This was to do with some online banking issues as well as the ticketing platform being handle by the director for events before the formation of the CIC. - Alexandra Bruce received £1050 also for her artistic role in the project, as one of the artists in the 3 events. She also got £451 for printing costs she made from her personal account. Again this was due to online banking issues, and to guarantee a smooth delivery throughout.
