Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 May 2026 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, YouThrive CIC delivered a range of early intervention, mentoring and community engagement activities for children, young people and families. The company's activities benefited the community in the following ways: -Delivered workshops in schools, alternative provision settings and community venues covering topics such as online safety, gangs awareness, exploitation, healthy relationships and safeguarding. -Provided mentoring and positive activities for children and young people, helping to improve confidence, resilience, wellbeing and engagement in education and the community. -Delivered regular community-based youth sessions, including sports, social activities and informal mentoring, providing safe spaces for young people to build positive relationships and access trusted adult support. -Supported parents, carers and professionals through awareness workshops and information sessions designed to increase understanding of safeguarding risks affecting young people. -Worked in partnership with local schools, community organisations and statutory services to identify and support young people who may be vulnerable to exploitation, violence, social isolation or other challenges. -Created opportunities for young people to participate in positive activities that promote physical wellbeing, personal development and stronger community connections.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders include children and young people who participate in its activities, parents and carers, schools, alternative provision settings, partner organisations, funders and the company's directors. Stakeholders have been consulted through discussions during activities and workshops, participant feedback forms, meetings with schools and partner organisations, and ongoing communication with parents, carers and referral agencies. Feedback received has helped the company to develop and improve its services. This has included adapting workshop content to address issues identified by young people and schools, improving engagement activities and ensuring that services continue to meet the needs of the local community.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £12,035.15 There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
