| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
| Foreign currencies |
| Assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate of exchange ruling at the date of transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating result. |

| 12. | CONTINGENT LIABILITIES |
| The company entered into a 10 year operating lease for an annual rent of £70,000. Post year end they have given notice of their intention to exercise the 5 year break clause. This will trigger the dilapidation clause within the lease agreement. There is insufficient information available to accurately determine the value of the dilapidation provision but the directors acknowledge the existence of a contingent liability in respect of this. |
| Following the acquisition of the company by the immediate parent, there was a contingent liability in respect of a charge in favour of the seller, Nickerson Limited, dated 9th April 2021, incorporating a fixed and floating charge over all current and future assets of the company, and a negative pledge. The charge was satisfied on 4th April 2025. |
