| 1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
| Socketfast Ltd is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, registered number 07420879. Its registered office is Linley Lodge Industrial Estate Westgate,Westgate, Aldridge, Walsall, West Midlands, WS9 8EX. |
| The financial statements are presented in Sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. |

| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Preparation of consolidated financial statements |
| The financial statements contain information about Socketfast Ltd as an individual company and do not contain consolidated financial information as the parent of a group. The company is exempt under Section 399(2A) of the Companies Act 2006 from the requirements to prepare consolidated financial statements. |
| Turnover |
| Turnover is recognised at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for goods and services provided in the normal course of business, and is shown net of VAT and other sales related taxes. The fair value consideration takes into account trade discounts, settlement discounts and volume rebates. |
| Revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods have passed to the buyer (usually on dispatch of the goods), the amount of revenue can be measured reliably, it is probable that the economic benefits associated with the transactions will flow to the entity and the costs incurred or to be incurred in respect of the transaction can be measured reliably. |

| Stocks are stated at the lower of the costs and estimated selling price less costs to complete and sell as follows: Goods for resale - purchase cost on a first in first out basis. |
| At each reporting date, an assessment is made for impairment. Any excess of the carrying amount of stocks over its estimated selling price less costs to complete and seel is recognised as an impairment loss in profit and loss. Reversals of impairment losses are also recognised in the profit and loss. |
| Financial instruments |
| Basic financial liabilities, including trade and other debtors and creditors, bank loans and other loans are initially recognised at transaction price, unless the arrangement constitutes a financing transaction, where the debt instrument is measured at the present value of the future receipts or payments discounted at a market rate of interest. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Statement of Income and Retained Earnings, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |

| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
| Foreign currencies |
| Transactions in currencies other than pounds sterling are recorded at the rates of exchange prevailing at the dates of transactions. At each reporting end date, monetary assets and liabilities that are denominated in foreign currencies are retranslated at the rates prevailing at the reporting end date. Gains and losses arising on translation in the period are included in profit and loss. |
| Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
| Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight line basis over the period of the lease. |

| Rentals payable under operating leases, including any lease incentives received are charged to profit and loss on a straight line basis over the term of the relevant lease except where a more systematic basis is more representative of the time pattern in which economic benefits from the leases asset are consumed. |
