COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

EDUCATION FC CIC

Company Number: 10811539 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 July 2025

Company activities and impact

Education FC has put on a provision of recreational sporting activities for families at an affordable or for free in order to remove economic barriers. Education FC CIC have improved the community space to promote the park as a safe family space where families can enjoy an outdoor lifestyle, come to enjoy a positive open green space, or take part in sporting activities. We have run holiday camps to meet the needs of the local community through a free provision, supporting over 200 children and young people every year. The camps provide care for children throughout the day, include a hot meal option and promote fun, enjoyment, togetherness and education. Finally, we have ensured our responsibility to the community through maintaining the park is met. This includes ensuring the grass is cut, rubbish and litter is removed. This is to support more people getting outdoors to enjoy great Nottingham green spaces.

Consultation with stakeholders

The CIC’s stakeholders are the members of the public who utilise the park, parents, players and families who take part in our activities and events. We consult with these stakeholders regarding the maintenance of the park, how well our events are received and the development of the site as a whole – including the provision of outdoor gym equipment. We seek feedback on our holiday camps for those that attend, parents and children alike in order to better determine how we can improve our provision. We host a steering group who can discuss the communities opinions around how we look after the park and what they would like to see on the park in the future.
