During the financial year, Access All Areas Training CIC continued to deliver its social purpose of building stronger communities by supporting individuals who face barriers to employment, education and social inclusion. As a Community Interest Company, our activities have focused on improving life opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds, with particular emphasis on those experiencing long-term unemployment, mental health challenges, disabilities, learning difficulties, social isolation, substance misuse recovery, and other complex needs. Through the delivery of accredited training, personalised employability support, careers guidance and wellbeing interventions, we have helped individuals develop the confidence, skills and resilience needed to progress into sustainable employment, further education, volunteering and independent living. Our tailored one-to-one support has enabled participants to overcome significant barriers while creating clear progression pathways that meet their individual aspirations. During the year, we strengthened our partnerships with employers, local authorities, Jobcentre Plus, health services, education providers and voluntary sector organisations to ensure participants received holistic support. We continued delivering employment and skills programmes through the Department for Work and Pensions Flexible Support Fund, NHS referrals, probation services and other community referral partners. A key highlight was the expansion of our employer engagement activities through our "Support into Work" programme. We hosted a successful Open Access Employer Day, bringing together ten local businesses from a range of industries to meet unemployed residents. Forty-seven participants attended the event, gaining valuable insight into local career opportunities, networking directly with employers and hearing an inspirational presentation from a former client who has successfully overcome addiction and returned to employment. The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both employers and participants and has led to plans for future employer engagement events. We also continued to invest in the development of our new Learning Centre, creating an inclusive and accessible community hub where individuals can access training, advice, wellbeing support and employment services under one roof. This investment has strengthened local provision and increased opportunities for residents who may otherwise struggle to engage with mainstream services. The company continued to demonstrate measurable social value by supporting individuals into employment, further education and volunteering while helping reduce social isolation and improving confidence, wellbeing and economic participation. Our services have particularly benefited vulnerable members of the community, including people with disabilities, hidden disabilities, mental health conditions, care leavers, prison leavers and those recovering from addiction. By working collaboratively with employers and community partners, Access All Areas Training CIC has continued to create positive, sustainable outcomes that not only improve individual lives but also contribute to the wider economic and social wellbeing of the local community. Our activities remain firmly aligned with our community interest objective of reducing disadvantage, promoting inclusion and enabling individuals to reach their full potential.
In obtaining feedback from Stakeholders and members of the community and partners via the online feedback fom1 and regular meetings allows the company to justify potential areas of growth and innovative ways of supporting customers in the community. The evolution and feedback of the Youth support services has enabled young members to contribute and enhance the services within the community.
