Positive Life Workshops CIC provides creative wellbeing activities that improve mental health, reduce social isolation and increase confidence through accessible arts-based projects. During the year the company delivered pottery painting, ceramics, mosaics, creative wellbeing workshops and community engagement projects for children, young people and adults across St Helens and the Liverpool City Region. The company worked in partnership with local charities, community organisations, schools and public sector partners to deliver preventative wellbeing activities that encouraged creativity, connection and resilience. Workshops were designed to improve confidence, develop new skills, reduce loneliness and provide safe opportunities for social interaction. During the year Positive Life Workshops also expanded its community ceramics studio, increasing opportunities for local people to access creative activities, learn new skills and participate in inclusive community projects. The studio has become a welcoming space for individuals, families and community groups, supporting both wellbeing and community cohesion. All profits generated by the company continue to be reinvested into developing community activities, improving facilities and increasing opportunities for people who may otherwise face barriers to participation.
The company's stakeholders include participants, volunteers, community groups, partner organisations, commissioners, local authorities, schools and healthcare partners. Feedback is gathered through informal conversations, evaluation forms, meetings, social media engagement and ongoing partnership working. This feedback is used to shape future workshops, develop new projects and improve accessibility. During the year stakeholder feedback directly influenced the expansion of the community ceramics studio, the development of new creative wellbeing workshops and increased opportunities for community participation.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £10,704.00.
