During the financial year, Youth Alliance Network Community UK Project CIC delivered a range of community focused programmes designed to improve the wellbeing, confidence, and social inclusion of young people and women across the local area. The CIC operated a Youth Sports Programme, funded by Sport England (£11,300), offering weekly football, fitness, and multi sports sessions for young people aged 16+. These structured activities provided safe and supervised environments that promoted physical health, teamwork, discipline, and positive social behaviour. The programme reduced isolation among young people, increased regular participation in physical activity, and contributed to improved mental wellbeing and stronger community cohesion. The CIC also delivered a Menopause Awareness and Support Project, funded by the National Lottery (£20,000). This initiative provided workshops, information sessions, and peer support groups for women experiencing menopause symptoms. The project increased awareness, reduced stigma, and empowered women with practical knowledge to manage physical and emotional changes associated with menopause. It created a supportive community space where women could share experiences, access guidance, and improve their overall wellbeing. Across both programmes, the CIC worked closely with local families, schools, community organisations, and health networks. Participant feedback demonstrated significant positive impact, including increased confidence, improved health outcomes, and stronger community engagement. All activities were delivered exclusively for community benefit, in line with the CIC’s social purpose and commitment to supporting vulnerable and underserved groups.
Yes, during the financial year, the company consulted with a range of stakeholders who are directly affected by, or have an interest in, the CIC’s activities. These stakeholders included: Young people participating in the Youth Sports Programme Women involved in the Menopause Awareness and Support Project Local families and carers Schools, youth organisations and community partners Health and wellbeing support networks Funders such as Sport England and the National Lottery How Stakeholders Were Consulted Stakeholders were consulted through: Regular feedback surveys at the end of programme sessions Focus groups and discussion circles with young people and women Partnership meetings with schools, community organisations and health networks Direct participant feedback collected by project staff Monitoring and evaluation reports submitted to funders Actions Taken in Response to Stakeholder Feedback Feedback received during the year led to several improvements: Extended sports session times after young people requested longer activity periods. Additional menopause support workshops to cover topics such as mental health, nutrition and managing symptoms. Improved communication channels including WhatsApp groups and email updates for families and participants. Closer collaboration with schools to identify young people who would benefit most from the sports programme. Enhanced safeguarding measures following recommendations from partner organisations. Summary Statement The CIC actively engaged its stakeholders throughout the year and used their feedback to strengthen programme delivery, increase accessibility, and improve participant experience. Consultation ensured that activities remained responsive to community needs and aligned with the CIC’s social purpose.
