| Preparation of consolidated financial statements |
| The financial statements contain information about The Financial Planning Group Limited as an individual company and do not contain consolidated financial information as the parent of a group. The company is exempt under Section 400 of the Companies Act 2006 from the requirements to prepare consolidated financial statements as it and its subsidiary undertaking are included by full consolidation in the consolidated financial statements of its parent, D Ness Limited, 2 Devanha Gardens West Aberdeen AB11 7UW. |

| Going concern |
| The company finances its activities with the assistance of long term loans. |
| The directors have prepared prudent forecast projections which take account of the uncertainties in future trading performance.These demonstrate that the company and its trading subsidiaries should be able to operate and comply with the financial covenants and conditions of the facilities. |
| After making enquiries the directors have an expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, the financial statements continue to be prepared on the going concern basis. |
