Lease dilapidations Provision is made for the estimated costs of restoring leased properties to the condition required under the terms of the relevant lease agreements. A provision is recognised when the company has a present obligation as a result of past events, it is probable that an outflow of resources will be required to settle the obligation, and the amount of the obligation can be reliably estimated. The provision is based on the Directors' best estimate of the expenditure required to settle the obligation at the reporting date and is reviewed at each reporting date. Where the effect of the time value of money is material, the provision is discounted to its present value. |
