The company is a private company limited by shares and registered in England and Wales. It was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The Director acknowledges their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
Average number of employees
The average number of persons employed by the company in the period was 11 (previous period: 7).
Directors advances, credits and guarantees
During the year the company made advances to E J Hawley, the sole director and shareholder. The balance due from the director at 1 November 2024 was £91,697.86. Advances of £251,208.41 were made to the director during the year and repayments of £9,599.47 were received, leaving a balance due to the company of £333,306.80 at 31 October 2025. The advances are unsecured, interest free and repayable on demand. No amounts were written off or waived. After the year end, £241,608.94 of the balance was repaid on 30 July 2026 by way of an interim dividend credited to the director's loan account.
Additional Disclosures
Opening reserves at 1 November 2024 were restated by £23,768.50 to correct prior period matters, principally corporation tax under-provision, reclassification of amounts drawn by the director, and depreciation. Dividends of £25,588.37 were recognised during the year.
