Exeter Respect CIC was established to promote diveristy, equality and human rights. During the finacial year Exeter Respect CIC have organised the 28th Anniversay of Exeter Resepct Festival the annual celebration of Culutral Diveristy and human rights. Our actvities were extended to include Respect Community Cinema, social, poetry and sopken words event, open doors awarenss event to talk to the public about inclusion and diveristy. We have organised workshops, supported studnets from Exeter College to learn about cultural diversity, and how racism can stop people from progressing, the studnets have benefited from the sessions and created a video to promote clutural diversity. During this financial year jointly with other orgnaisation we have orgnaised open discussion meetings between communities, bringing people together from different background to share their experiences. Communities have benefited from this project, more become aware about their srrounding, been able to find the communialities between communities and question their own prejudice views about others.
1. Our stakeholders are the people who are interested to enage with Exeter Respect CIC, to tackle prejudice and racism in taking positive actions. 2. St.sidwell's community Centre are one of our stakeholders we have regular cosultation with people who are benefiting from our actvities, they are part of our process in making decision how to promote diveristy and equality and human rights. We have young ambassdors, who attend our organising board meeting. Brings a wealth of ideas. 3. Our monthly meeting brought different people and organsiation who are involved in oregsing the Festival, other porject such as Resepct Cinema open door event of promotion campaigning for Kick it Out, different communites were involved , to express their views how to expand and sustain Exeter Resepct Festival . 4. Voluntary sector been cosntluted how to work in parternship and deliver porjects that are in common with our remit.
